Plan A – Single Phase: Real-Time Current Monitoring
DLB (Dynamic Load Balancing) is an intelligent power management technology. It monitors the current of the household circuit in real time, uses the total current as the judgment basis, and automatically adjusts the charger's output power — effectively avoiding tripping, equipment damage, or safety hazards from overloading.
- Total Current (user input)
- Sets the maximum current capacity per phase (e.g. 80A) for the home circuit. Adjustable from 8A to 99A — exceeding this trips the circuit breaker.
- Charging Current
- The real-time current the charger is delivering to the vehicle.
- Home Appliance
- Total load of home appliances on the circuit, excluding the charging station.
- Standby Current
- = Total Current − Home Appliance − Charging Current. Available headroom on the circuit.

Plan A – Three Phase: Per-Phase Maximum Current Control
For three-phase installations, Plan A monitors the current of each phase in real time and uses the maximum phase current among L1, L2, and L3 as the control basis. The charger automatically adjusts output so that no single phase exceeds its safe carrying limit — preventing tripping or damage caused by any phase overloading.
- Monitors L1, L2, and L3 individually and responds to the highest-loaded phase.
- Automatically reduces EV charge current if any phase approaches its limit.
- Restores full charge rate as phase loads drop — no user action required.
- Compatible with standard three-phase home and light commercial installations.

Plan B – Three Phase Only: Total Sum Current Balancing
Plan B monitors the total combined current of all three phases (L1 + L2 + L3) simultaneously. It dynamically adjusts the EV charger's output to ensure maximum utilisation of available power without exceeding the configured household current limit.
- Household Current (user input)
- Total three-phase incoming current for household use. Adjustable from 8A to 999A according to your actual supply.
- Charging Current Sum
- Real-time combined charging current across all three phases.
- Home Appliance Sum
- Total current of home appliances detected by the electricity meter, excluding the charging station.
- Standby Current Sum
- = Household Current Sum − Home Appliance Sum − Charging Current Sum.

DLB Settings: How to Configure via the Charger Display
All DLB parameters are configurable directly from the charger's LCD menu using the physical front-panel buttons — no app or laptop required for on-site setup.
- Navigate to the DLB menu from the main settings screen using the Up / Down / OK buttons.
- Select Plan A (single-phase or three-phase per-phase max) or Plan B (three-phase total sum).
- Enter your household total current limit and confirm to activate load balancing immediately.
- Live DLB status is shown on the main display, updating in real time as household loads change.
