DLB is an intelligent power management technology that monitors your home circuit current in real time and automatically adjusts the charger's output power — ensuring the total circuit current never exceeds its safe limit, preventing tripped breakers, equipment damage, and safety hazards caused by overloading.
- Total Current (user-set): Define your home circuit's maximum safe current per phase (adjustable 8A–99A). Any draw above this threshold would trip the breaker — DLB prevents this automatically.
- Charging Current: The real-time output current the wallbox delivers to the vehicle — continuously adjusted by DLB based on available headroom.
- Home Appliance Load: The total current drawn by all other appliances in the circuit, monitored live via the energy meter.
- Standby Current: The remaining safety margin = Total Current − Home Appliance Load − Charging Current — always kept positive to prevent overload.

DLB Setup via On-Unit LCD Menu
Configuring Dynamic Load Balancing is straightforward using the built-in LCD menu and touch buttons — no app or specialist required. Navigate to the DLB settings menu, enter your home circuit's maximum current, and the system handles everything else automatically from that point on.
- Step-by-step menu navigation using the four touch buttons: Back, Up, Down, and Enter.

DLB Signal Cable Wiring & Button Layout
The DLB energy meter connects to the wallbox via a dedicated signal cable, enabling real-time current monitoring of the entire home circuit. The four-button panel provides direct hardware control at all times, independent of any app or network.
- Signal cable connects the external energy meter (CT clamp) to the wallbox — enables live whole-circuit current monitoring for DLB operation.
- Meter installs on the incoming supply, upstream of all home circuits, to accurately measure total household load.
- Return (Back): Exit the current menu level or cancel an input without saving.
- Up / Down: Scroll through menu options or increment / decrement a numerical value.
- Enter: Confirm a selection or save a setting — activates the highlighted action.
- All button functions are hardware-level — always operational regardless of Wi-Fi or app status.

RFID Card Management: Add, Delete & Toggle Access Control
The built-in RFID function lets you restrict charger access to authorised cards only — preventing unauthorised use when the charger is installed in a shared or accessible location. Card management is handled directly through the on-unit menu.
- Add a new RFID card via the menu: navigate to Card Management → Add Card → tap the card to the reader — registered in seconds.
- Delete individual cards or all cards at once from the menu — immediately revokes that card's access.
- Toggle the RFID function on or off in Settings: when disabled, the charger operates in plug-and-play mode without requiring a card swipe.

- RFID card swipe: when enabled, charging only starts after a registered card is presented — protects against unauthorised use in shared or exposed installations.
- Bluetooth control: connect directly to the charger within 10 metres via the app when no Wi-Fi network is available — ideal for garages without wireless coverage.
- Hotspot control: use your phone's mobile data hotspot to access full remote control anywhere with mobile coverage, without needing a fixed Wi-Fi connection.
